Join us VIRTUALLY for the November chapter meeting and presentation. We will meet virtually due to unavailable meeting space at the library for the month. The in-person meeting is set to resume for December's Holiday Celebration. The presenter is Linda Hollis with a presentation on "George Washington's Black Son Westford."
Linda Allen Hollis is a published author of four books and has just completed a screenplay adapted from her non-fiction narrative book, “I Cannot Tell a Lie: The True Story of George Washington’s African American Descendants.” Linda also is a historian and biographer and has spent over 30 plus years carefully researching her family’s genealogy and the surrounding issues. As a result, she has become an expert in early American history and race relations, including the numerous laws, codes, amendments, and critical players of 200 years of the nation’s history. A meeting link will be sent to AAHGS H-Town members. Visitors interested in joining the meeting should email htown@aahgs.org
